Epazote, who looks a lot like Captain but is NOT related to him, has attracted lots of new business after proving that he can produce extremely fine, lustrous crias. He already has several cria on the ground and by next year, he'll have even more ... he has produced only Suris and they are all colored even when he's bred to white dams; Epazote's locks have amazing luster and a deep rich color. His head is exactly what you look for in a Suri Champion ... great beard, lots of fiber on the ears and that great true-to-type Suri head. He has a wonderful personality and fully KNOWS that he is a stud.

We were very fortunate to win the bid on an Epazote breeding at Alpacapalooza. The much anticipated cria, born 6/29/06, is Uber's Antonio Gold. He has his Sire's luster, twisted locks, density, confirmation, bloodlines and great head. We picked Epazote for all these reasons and found out he is very gentle and easy to work with as we have had two more dams bred to him in 2006. You will see Epazote crias in the show ring for many years. Merlin is the newest addition to our Suri Herdsire line-up. He is a ¾ Peruvian male just beginning his breeding career. He received excellent marks for appearance, conformation and reproductive ability by Dr. Ahmed Tibary at WSU. He is predominantly medium fawn with some white and has fabulous genetics in his background which include Pperuvian Bruxo & Inca. He is exactly what we are looking for in a Suri male alpaca and we look forward to what he can produce.
Merlin has started his breeding career with a breeding to our "All Dolled Up" who is due with his cria in September 2008. Unfortunately for him, he got her pregnant on the first go-around, so he's really looking forward to meeting his next date. We also be offering discounts on multiple breedings.

AVS Kona is the great grandson of PPervian Bruxo, the grandson of DDF Peruvian MacGyver,(who has won "Herdsire Of The Year," 5 years in a row) and son of the renowned Captain Morgan (runner up for Futurity Herdsire Of The Year - 2005, 2006 AND 2007). The combination of Kona’s full Chilean dam La Koreana (light fawn) and Captain (dark brown) sire produced a True Black beauty that has lock and luster throughout as shown in the pictures! You won’t see a lot of true black Captain crias in the show ring! Kona has dense coverage from the tips of his ears to his toes. AVS Kona has exceptional conformation characteristic of his lineage and a great disposition.

We haven't seen much of this little guy since his Mom is off for a rebreeding to Ice Dancer, but we saw enough to agree to a rebreed to Capade's sire.
