Spot market electricity prices for Tuesday, Oct. 17

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade amounts to around 1.17 billion Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on T眉rkiye's day-ahead spot market for Tuesday will be 2,700 Turkish liras between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. local time (1400鈥�1700 GMT), according to official figures on Monday.

The lowest rate was set at 1,799.99 liras at 2 a.m. local time (2300 GMT), the data showed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Tuesday's electricity market shows an increase of 3.4% to around 1.17 billion liras compared to Monday.

The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,333.44 liras and 2,355.89 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Monday was set at 2,700 liras at 8 a.m., 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. local time (0500, 0600 and 1500 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined at 1,499.99 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT).

US$1 equals 27.88 liras at 2.17 p.m. local time (1117 GMT) on Monday.
