Mehmet Ayerden has been appointed as听the new Director General听of听Turkish Electricity Trade and Contracting Corporation known听as听TETAS, Turkey's official gazette听announced听Friday.
Ayerden was acting as the deputy general manager of the corporation.听Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu and Energy and Natural Resources Minister Taner Yildiz approved the听appointment听decision.
TETAS was listed as the third biggest company in Turkey in 2014 taking into account its听net sales which equaled听2.1 billion Turkish liras per month.
