Hydropower produced 89% of Norway's electricity in November, according to Statistics Norway (SSB) on Tuesday.
The country produced 13.43 terawatt-hours (TWh) of electricity in November, out of which 11.11 TWh was consumed.
In addition to hydropower, the country produced 10% of its electricity from wind power and 1% from thermal power.
The extraction of crude petroleum and natural gas, and power-intensive manufacturing composed the largest share of consumption.
The Nordic country's electricity consumption decreased by 9.3% in November, compared to the same period last year.
