Spot market electricity prices for Friday, Dec. 6

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade amounts to around 1.59 billion Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on T眉rkiye's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 3,000 Turkish liras between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. local time (1300 - 1500 GMT), according to official figures on Thursday.

The lowest rate was set at 2,000.01 liras at 1 p.m. local time (1000 GMT), the data showed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Friday's electricity market shows a decrease of 8.31% to around 1.59 billion liras compared to Thursday.

The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,528.80 liras and 2,558.73 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Thursday was set at 3,000 Turkish liras at 9 a.m and between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. local time (0600 GMT and 1300 - 1500 GMT), while the lowest rate at 2,053.99 liras at 5 a.m. local time (0200 GMT).

US$1 equals 34.73 liras at 2.17 p.m. local time (1117 GMT) on Thursday.
