Spot market electricity prices for Friday, Jan. 10

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade amounts to around 1.73 billion Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on T眉rkiye's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 3,000 Turkish at 8 a.m., 9 a.m., and 5 p.m. local time (0500, 0600, 1400 GMT), according to official figures on Thursday.

The lowest rate is set at 1,533.70 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Friday's electricity market shows a decrease of 3.5% to 1.73 billion liras compared to Thursday.

The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,497.41 liras and 2,519.12 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Thursday was set at 3,000 Turkish at 8 a.m., 9 a.m., and between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. local time (0500, 0600, 1300-1600 GMT), while the lowest was set at 1,799.98 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), according to official figures.

US$1 equals 35.35 liras at 2.21 p.m. local time (1121 GMT) on Thursday.
