The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on T眉rkiye's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 3,400 Turkish liras at 12 a.m., 1 a.m. local time, and between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. local time (2100, 2200 GMT and 1500-2000 GMT), according to official figures released on Thursday.
The data showed that the lowest rate is set at 1,399.99 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT).
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Thursday's electricity market shows an increase of 0.3% to around 1.83 billion liras compared to Wednesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 3,061.29 liras and 3,057.45 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt hour for Thursday was set at 3,400 Turkish liras between 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. local time (1500-2000 GMT), while the lowest at 1,798.98 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT).
US$1 equals 38.92 liras at 2.14 p.m. local time (1114 GMT) on Thursday.
