Spot market electricity prices for Monday, Dec. 23

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade amounts to around 1.6 billion Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on T眉rkiye's day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 3,000 Turkish liras at 8 a.m., 9 a.m., and between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. local time (0500, 0600 and 1400-1600 GMT), according to official figures on Sunday.

The lowest rate was set at 1,799.98 liras at 5 a.m. and 7 p.m. local time (0200 and 1600 GMT), the data showed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Monday's electricity market shows an increase of 12.8% to around 1.6 billion liras compared to Sunday.

The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,512.94 liras and 2,555.87 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Sunday was set at 3,000 Turkish liras between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. local time (1400-1600 GMT), while the lowest rate at 1,800.01 liras at 2 a.m. local time (2300 GMT on Saturday).

US$1 equals 35.22 liras at 2.21 p.m. local time (1121 GMT) on Sunday.
