Spot market electricity prices for Monday, May 26

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade volume amounts to 1.73 billion Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on T眉rkiye's day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 3,400 Turkish liras at 8 a.m., 9 a.m., and between 5 p.m. and 12 a.m. local time (0500, 0600, 1200-2100 GMT), according to official figures released on Sunday.

The data showed that the lowest rate is set at 1,400 liras at 6 a.m. local time (0300 GMT).

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Monday's electricity market shows an increase of 59.4% to around 1.73 billion liras compared to Sunday.

The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 2,903.67 liras and 2,964.94 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt hour for Sunday was set at 3,400 Turkish liras between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (1600-1800 GMT), while the lowest at 129 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT).

US$1 equals 38.96 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Sunday.
