Spot market electricity prices for Saturday, Feb. 18

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade amounts to 1.34 billion Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on T眉rkiye's day-ahead spot market for Saturday will be 3,650 Turkish liras at 6 p.m. and at 7 p.m. (1500 and 1600 GMT), according to official figures on Friday.

The lowest rate was set at 2,000 liras at 4 p.m. (1300 GMT), the data showed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Friday鈥檚 electricity market showed a decrease of 18.68% to 1.34 billion liras compared to Thursday.

The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,755.25 liras and 2,757.90 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Tuesday was set as 3,650 liras at 8. a.m. and 9 a.m., and between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. (0500 and 0600, and 1400 - 1600 GMT)) while the lowest rate was determined at 2,075 liras at 1 p.m. (1000 GMT), according to official figures.

US$1 equals 18.87 liras at 2.30 p.m. local time (1130 GMT) on Friday.
