Spot market electricity prices for Saturday, May 31

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade volume amounts to 1.09 billion Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on T眉rkiye's day-ahead spot market for Saturday will be 3,400 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (1700, 1800 GMT), according to official figures released on Friday.

The data showed that the lowest rate is set at 499,99 liras at 3 p.m. local time (1200 GMT).

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Friday's electricity market shows a decrease of 35.4% to around 1.09 billion liras compared to Thursday.

The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 1,927.71 liras and 1,927.83 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt hour for Friday was set at 3,400 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (1700, 1800 GMT), while the lowest was set at 1,399.99 liras at 1 p.m. local time (1000 GMT).

US$1 equals 39.24 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Friday.
