Spot market electricity prices for Saturday, Nov. 4

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade amounts to around 713.10 million Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on T眉rkiye's day-ahead spot market for Saturday will be 2,640 Turkish liras at 6 p.m. local time (1500 GMT), according to official figures on Friday.

The lowest rate was set at 624.99 liras at 12 p.m. and 11 p.m. local time (0900 GMT and 2000 GMT), the data showed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Saturday's electricity market shows a decrease of 34.8% to 713.10 million liras compared to Friday.

The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 1,450.95 liras and 1,473.52 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Friday was set at 2,700 liras between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. local time (0500-0600 GMT) and between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. local time (1400-1500 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined as 1,250 liras at 11 p.m. local time (2000 GMT).

US$1 equals 28.40 liras at 2.37 p.m. local time (1137 GMT) on Friday.
