The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on T眉rkiye's day-ahead spot market for Saturday will be 3,000 Turkish liras between 5 p.m. and 10 p.m local time (1400 - 1900 GMT), according to official figures on Friday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,000.01 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Saturday's electricity market shows a decrease of 6.9% to around 1.56 billion liras compared to Friday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,477.18 liras and 2,472.54 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Friday was set at 3,000 Turkish liras at 6 p.m. and 7 p.m local time (1500 and 1600 GMT) while the lowest rate at 1,208.14 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT).
US$1 equals 34.18 liras at 2.13 p.m. local time (1113 GMT) on Friday.
