The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on T眉rkiye's day-ahead spot market for Sunday will be 3,400 Turkish liras between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (1600-1800 GMT), according to official figures released on Saturday.
The lowest rate is set at 58.31 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0800 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Sunday's electricity market shows a decrease of 26.4% to around 1.05 billion liras compared to Saturday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 1.860,04 liras and 1.869.36 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one-megawatt hour for Saturday was set at 3,400 Turkish liras between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (1600-1800 GMT), while the lowest was set at 250 liras at 3 p.m. local time (1200 GMT).
US$1 equals 38.02 liras at 2.15 p.m. local time (1115 GMT) on Saturday.
