Spot market electricity prices for Sunday, Jan. 26

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade amounts to around 1.40 billion Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on T眉rkiye's day-ahead spot market for Sunday will be 3,000 Turkish liras between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (1400 and 1800 GMT), according to official figures on Saturday.

The lowest rate is set at 1,225.62 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Sunday's electricity market shows a decrease of 19% to 1.40 billion liras compared to Saturday.

The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,458 liras and 2,453.67 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Saturday was set at 3,000 Turkish liras between 8 a.m., 9 a.m. and between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. local time (0500, 0600 and 1300 - 1600 GMT), while the lowest was set at 2,144.98 liras between 11 p.m. local time (2000 GMT), according to official figures.

US$1 equals 35.63 liras at 2.20 p.m. local time (1120 GMT) on Saturday.
