The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on T眉rkiye's day-ahead spot market for Sunday will be 2,700 Turkish liras between 8 p.m. and 11 p.m. local time (1700-2000 GMT), according to official figures on Saturday.
The lowest rate was set at 738,42 liras at 3 p.m. local time (1200 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Sunday's electricity market shows a decrease of 16.5% to around 1.16 billion liras compared to Saturday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 1,858.46 liras and 1,873.11 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Saturday was set at 2,700 Turkish liras at 12 p.m., and between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (2100 GMT on Thursday, 1600-1800 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined at 1000,01 liras at 12 a.m. local time (0900 GMT).
US$1 equals 32.83 liras at 2.20 p.m. local time (1120 GMT) on Saturday.
