Spot market electricity prices for Sunday, May 18

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade volume amounts to 938 million Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on T眉rkiye's day-ahead spot market for Sunday will be 3,400 Turkish liras between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (1600-1900 GMT), according to official figures released on Saturday.

The data showed that the lowest rate is set at 120 liras between 12 p.m. and 1 p.m local time (0900-1000 GMT).

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Saturday's electricity market shows an increase of 7.8% to around 938 million liras compared to Friday.

The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 1,792.68 liras and 1,799.21 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt hour for Saturday was set at 3,400 Turkish liras between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (1600-1800 GMT), while the lowest was 130.01 liras at 7 a.m., 12 p.m., and 2 p.m. local time (0400, 0900, and 1100 GMT).

US$1 equals 38.86 liras at 4.15 p.m. local time (1315 GMT) on Saturday.
