The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on T眉rkiye's day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 3,000 Turkish liras at 8 a.m. and between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. local time (0500 and 1500-1600 GMT), according to official figures on Wednesday.
The lowest rate is set at 1,889.97 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Thursday's electricity market shows a decrease of 8,6% to around 1.83 billion liras compared to Wednesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,540.18 liras and 2,550.74 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Wednesday was set at 3,000 Turkish liras at 8 a.m. and between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (0500, 1400-1800 GMT), while the lowest rate was set at 1,889.98 liras at 3 p.m. local time (1200 GMT), according to official figures.
US$1 equals 36.43 liras at 2.30 p.m. local time (1130 GMT) on Wednesday.
