Spot market electricity prices for Thursday, Feb.1

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade amounts to around 1.3 billion Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on T眉rkiye's day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 2,700 Turkish liras between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. local time (1400 - 1500 GMT), according to official figures on Wednesday.

The lowest rate was set at 1,486 liras at 4 a.m. local time (0100 GMT), the data showed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Thursday鈥檚 electricity market shows an increase of 28.6% to around 1.68 billion Turkish liras compared to Wednesday.

The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,332.91 liras and 1,356.39 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Wednesday was set at 2,700 liras at 5 p.m. and 6 p.m local time (1400 and 1500 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined as 1,000 liras at 4 a.m. local time (0100 GMT).

US$1 equals 30.36 liras at 2.29 p.m. local time (1129 GMT) on Wednesday.
