Spot market electricity prices for Tuesday, Jan. 11

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade amounts to 687.01 million Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour in Turkiye's day-ahead spot market for Tuesday will be 1,340 Turkish liras at 09.00 local time (0600 GMT) while the lowest will be 729.99 liras at 04.00 local time (0100 GMT), according to official figures on Monday.

Turkiye's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Monday's electricity market showed a decrease of 13.4% to 687.01 million liras compared to Sunday.

The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 1,035.90 liras and 1,043.06 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market for Monday was set as 1,345 liras between 08.00 and 11.00 local time (0500-0800 GMT), and between 15.00 and 17.00 local time (1200-1400 GMT) with the lowest at 836.03 liras at 03.00 local time (0000 GMT).

US$1 equals 13.80 Turkish liras at 1124 GMT on Monday.
