Spot market electricity prices for Wednesday, Dec. 11

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade amounts to around 1.74 billion Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on T眉rkiye's day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 3,000 Turkish liras at 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. local time (1400 and 1500 GMT), according to official figures on Tuesday.

The lowest rate was set at 1,800 liras at 3 a.m. local time (0000 GMT), the data showed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Wednesday's electricity market shows an increase of 17.4% to around 1.74 billion liras compared to Tuesday.

The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,653.86 liras and 2,691.77 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Tuesday was set at 2,990 Turkish liras at 8 a.m and 5 p.m. local time (0500 and 1400 GMT), while the lowest rate was set at 1049.99 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT).

US$1 equals 34.84 liras at 2.13 p.m. local time (1113 GMT) on Tuesday.
