Spot market electricity prices for Wednesday, Nov. 16

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade amounts to 1.95 billion Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on T眉rkiye's day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 4,800 Turkish liras between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. local times (0500-0800 GMT) and between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. local time (1200-1600 GMT), according to official figures on Tuesday.

The lowest rate was set as 1,999.99 liras at 10 p.m and 11 p.m local times (1900 and 2000 GMT), the data showed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Tuesday's electricity market showed an increase of 1.94% to 1.95 billion liras compared to Monday.

The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 3,998.53 liras and 4,087.96 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Tuesday was set as 4,800 liras at 8 a.m. and 9 a.m., and between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. local times (0500 and 0600, and 1300-1600 GMT), while the lowest rate was agreed at 1,999.98 liras at 3 a.m and 4 a.m. local times (0000 and 0100 GMT), according to official figures.

US$1 equals 18.61 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Tuesday.
