Daily electricity consumption in T眉rkiye increased by 0.49% on Wednesday compared to the previous day, totaling 942,535 megawatt-hours, according to official figures of Turkish Electricity Transmission Corporation (TEIAS) on Thursday.
Hourly power consumption peaked at 44,458 megawatt-hours at 3 p.m. local time (1200 GMT), data from TEIAS showed.
The country's electricity usage dropped to the lowest level of 32,414 megawatt-hours at 7 a.m. local time (0400 GMT).
Electricity production amounted to 931,789 megawatt-hours on Wednesday, marking an increase of 0.76% compared to Tuesday.
Electricity production from natural plants constituted 29.1% of total generation, while imported coal and hydropower plants contributed 25.2% and 11%, respectively.
On Wednesday, the country's electricity exports amounted to 5,168 megawatt-hours and imports totaled 15,913 megawatt-hours.
