Türkiye's daily power consumption up 4.6% on April 29

- Electricity exports amount to 6,319 megawatt-hours and imports total 10,528 megawatt-hours

Daily electricity consumption in T眉rkiye increased 4.6% on Tuesday, compared to the previous day, totaling 922,508 megawatt-hours, according to official figures of Turkish Electricity Transmission Corporation (TEIAS) on Wednesday.

Hourly power consumption peaked at 43,181 megawatt-hours at 9 p.m. local time (1800 GMT), data from TEIAS showed. The country's electricity usage dropped to the lowest level of 30,848 megawatt-hours at 7 a.m. local time (0400 GMT).

Electricity production amounted to 918,325 megawatt-hours on Tuesday, marking an increase of 4.5% compared to Monday.

Electricity production from wind plants constituted 22.2% of total generation, while hydroelectricity and imported coal plants contributed 17.6% and 13.4%, respectively.
