Italian Eni posted a 33% loss in net profit during the first quarter of 2023 of around 鈧�2.4 billion (around $2.6 billion) compared to 鈧�3.6 billion in the same quarter of last year, according to its financial results statement released on Friday.
The company recorded nearly $627 million in profit during the last quarter of last year.
The revenue for the January鈥揗arch period reached 鈧�27.4 billion, compared to 鈧�32.5 billion for the same quarter of 2022.
The company's fourth-quarter 2022 revenue amounted to 鈧�31.4 billion.
