Turkey Tuesday strongly condemned the deadly terror attack targeting Libya鈥檚 Foreign Ministry in capital Tripoli.
In a statement, Turkish Foreign Ministry said: 鈥淲e strongly condemn today鈥檚 terrorist attack against the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Government of National Accord in Libya鈥檚 capital Tripoli.鈥
On Tuesday, at least three people were killed and nine others injured in the militant attack on the headquarters of Libya鈥檚 Foreign Ministry.
Turkey wished speedy recovery to the wounded and conveyed its condolences to the relatives of the deceased, the statement said.
鈥淭urkey will maintain its solidarity with the people and the Government of Libya in the fight against terrorism,鈥 it added.
Gunmen, believed to be a Daesh terrorist group, opened fire on the building before blowing up their explosive vests.
No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack, though.
Libya has remained dogged by turmoil since 2011, when a bloody NATO-backed uprising led to the ouster and death of long-serving President Muammar Gaddafi after more than four decades in power.
