The trade volume of Turkey's spot natural gas market increased by 77.1% to 7.05 million Turkish liras on Wednesday, Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data showed on Thursday.
Total trade on Tuesday amounted to 3.98 million liras.
On Tuesday's spot market, 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas cost 2,062 liras, while the cumulative natural gas trade volume amounted to around 3.42 million cubic meters.
Turkey received 140.8 million cubic meters of pipeline gas on Wednesday.
US$1 equals 8.69 Turkish liras at 1108 GMT on Thursday.
