Hydro provides most of Norway's power in February

- Norway produces 14.41 terawatt-hours of electricity in February

Hydropower produced 91.4% of Norway's electricity in February, equivalent to 13.17 terawatt-hours (TWh), according to Statistics Norway (SSB) on Tuesday.

In addition to hydropower, the country produced 7.8% of its electricity from wind power and 0.8% from thermal power.

The country's total electricity production amounted to 14.41 TWh in February.

The largest share of consumption composed of the extraction of crude petroleum and natural gas, and power-intensive manufacturing.

The Nordic country's electricity consumption increased by 9.1% in February, compared to the same period last year.
