Turkey's liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) imports increased 0.4% to 323,319 tonnes in August compared to the same month of 2020, according to the latest data from the country's energy watchdog.
The Energy Market Regulatory Authority's (EMRA) data showed that Turkey's imports came from Algeria, the US, Greece, Norway, Kazakhstan and the UK.
Turkey's LPG production in August decreased to 85,495 tonnes, marking a year-on-year fall of 8.9%.
Exports rose to 17,271 tonnes this August from 1,414 tonnes in August last year.
Total LPG sales in August decreased by 1.4% to around 402,789 tonnes, comprising 332,997 tonnes of autogas, 61,898 tonnes of bottled LPG, and 7,894 tonnes of bulk LPG.
