Turkey's liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) imports decreased by 3.2% to 322,062 tonnes in August 2020 compared to the same month of 2019, according to the latest data from the country's energy watchdog.
The Energy Market Regulatory Authority's (EMRA) data showed that Turkey's imports came from the Algeria, the US, Kazakhstan, Norway, Spain, Croatia, Egypt and Santa Kitts and Nevis.
Turkey's LPG production in August decreased to 93,8111 tonnes - marking a year-on-year drop of 9.6%.
Exports also decreased to 1,414 tonnes in August from 2,332 tonnes in August 2019.
Total LPG sales in August decreased by 5.5% to around 407,491 tonnes, including 334,766 tonnes of autogas, 66,521 tonnes of bottled LPG, and 6,204 tonnes of bulk LPG.
