The trade volume on T眉rkiye's spot natural gas market showed an increase of 85.2% to 8.50 million Turkish liras on Friday, T眉rkiye's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data showed on Saturday.
Total trade on Thursday amounted to 4.59 million liras.
On Friday's spot market, 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas cost 13,134.80 liras, while the cumulative natural gas trade volume amounted to around 648,000 cubic meters.
T眉rkiye received 148.91 million cubic meters of pipeline gas on Friday.
US$1 equals 36.48 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Saturday.
