The trade volume on T眉rkiye's spot natural gas market showed an increase of 80.6% to 26.03 million Turkish liras on Friday, T眉rkiye's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data showed on Saturday.
Total trade on Thursday amounted to around 14.41 million liras.
On Friday's spot market, 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas cost 12,337.94 liras, while the cumulative natural gas trade volume amounted to around 2.1 million cubic meters.
T眉rkiye received 133.19 million cubic meters of pipeline gas on Friday.
US$1 equals 37.97 liras at 2.17 p.m. local time (1117 GMT) on Saturday.
