The trade volume of Turkey's spot natural gas market increased by 69.67% to 4.70 million Turkish liras on Monday, Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data showed on Tuesday.
Total trade on Sunday amounted to 2.77 million liras.
On Monday's spot market, 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas costs 2,186 liras, while the cumulative natural gas trade volume amounted to around 2.155 million cubic meters.
Turkey received 139.51 million cubic meters of pipeline gas on Monday.
US$1 equals 8.61 Turkish liras at 1129 GMT on Tuesday.
