The trade volume on T眉rkiye's spot natural gas market showed an increase of 70.1% to around 23.7 million Turkish liras on Saturday, T眉rkiye's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data showed on Sunday.
Total trade on Friday amounted to about 13.9 million liras.
On Saturday's spot market, 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas cost 12,491.53 liras, while the cumulative natural gas trade volume amounted to around 1.91 million cubic meters.
T眉rkiye received about 147.4 million cubic meters of pipeline gas on Saturday.
US$1 equals 38.43 liras at 2.24 p.m. local time (1124 GMT) on Sunday.
