The trade volume on Turkiye's spot natural gas market showed an increase of 37% to 264.82 million Turkish liras on Saturday, Turkiye's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data showed on Sunday.
Total trade on Friday amounted to 193.29 million liras.
On Saturday's spot market, 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas cost 9,788.82 liras, while the cumulative natural gas trade volume amounted to around 27.05 million cubic meters.
Turkiye received 227.23 million cubic meters of pipeline gas on Saturday.
US$1 equals 13.65 liras at 1120 GMT on Sunday.
