The trade volume on T眉rkiye's spot natural gas market showed an increase of 21.57% to around 18.88 million liras on Saturday, T眉rkiye's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data showed on Sunday.
Total trade on Friday amounted to about 15.53 million liras.
On Saturday's spot market, 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas cost 11,932.72 liras, while the cumulative natural gas trade volume amounted to around 1.58 million cubic meters.
T眉rkiye received around 198.7 million cubic meters of pipeline gas on Saturday.
US$1 equals 34.55 liras at 2.32 p.m. local time (1132 GMT) on Sunday.
