The trade volume on T眉rkiye's spot natural gas market showed an increase of 1,930% to 112.7 million Turkish liras on Sunday, T眉rkiye's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data showed on Monday.
Total trade on Saturday amounted to 5.55 million liras.
On Sunday's spot market, 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas cost 26,100 liras, while the cumulative natural gas trade volume amounted to around 4.32 cubic meters.
T眉rkiye received 89.58 million cubic meters of pipeline gas on Sunday.
US$1 equals 18.50 liras at 02.35 p.m. local time (1135 GMT) on Monday.
