The trade volume on T眉rkiye's spot natural gas market showed an increase of 51.2% to around 9.36 million liras on Tuesday, T眉rkiye's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data showed on Wednesday.
Total trade on Monday amounted to about 6.19 million liras.
On Tuesday's spot market, 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas cost 12,575.26 liras, while the cumulative natural gas trade volume amounted to around 755,000 cubic meters.
T眉rkiye received around 241.18 million cubic meters of pipeline gas on Tuesday.
US$1 equals 35.36 liras at 2.52 p.m. local time (1152 GMT) on Wednesday.
