The trade volume on T眉rkiye's spot natural gas market showed an increase of 37.2% to 14.49 million Turkish liras on Tuesday, T眉rkiye's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data showed on Wednesday.
Total trade on Monday amounted to 10.56 million liras.
On Tuesday's spot market, 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas cost 12,640 liras, while the cumulative natural gas trade volume amounted to around 1.15 million cubic meters.
T眉rkiye received 265.78 million cubic meters of pipeline gas on Tuesday.
US$1 equals 35.92 liras at 2.32 p.m. local time (1132 GMT) on Wednesday.
