The trade volume on T眉rkiye's spot natural gas market showed an increase of 141.4% to 7.46 million Turkish liras on Wednesday, T眉rkiye's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data showed on Thursday.
Total trade on Tuesday amounted to 3.09 million liras.
On Wednesday's spot market, 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas cost 10,792.49 liras, while the cumulative natural gas trade volume amounted to around 692,000 cubic meters.
T眉rkiye received 202.13 million cubic meters of pipeline gas on Wednesday.
US$1 equals 18.88 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Thursday.
