The trade volume on T眉rkiye's spot natural gas market showed an increase of 18.6% to around 11.34 million Turkish liras on Wednesday, T眉rkiye's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data showed on Thursday.
Total trade on Tuesday amounted to about 9.56 million liras.
On Wednesday's spot market, 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas cost 13,735.42 liras, while the cumulative natural gas trade volume amounted to around 853,000 cubic meters.
T眉rkiye received about 115.61 million cubic meters of pipeline gas on Wednesday.
US$1 equals 39.53 liras at 2.15 p.m. local time (1115 GMT) on Thursday.
