The trade volume on T眉rkiye's spot natural gas market showed an increase of 14.4% to around 21.9 million Turkish liras on Thursday, T眉rkiye's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data showed on Friday.
Total trade on Wednesday amounted to 25.6 million liras.
On Thursday's spot market, 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas cost 12,963.58 liras, while the cumulative natural gas trade volume amounted to around 1.68 million cubic meters.
T眉rkiye received 301.39 million cubic meters of pipeline gas on Thursday.
US$1 equals 36.22 liras at 2.20 p.m. local time (1120 GMT) on Friday.
