Turkey's energy watchdog imposed on Saturday a $325,000听fine on three energy companies, according to their official gazette.听
The three energy companies were fined $325,000 --听747, 766 Turkish liras --听as they breached license requirements听by holding products that contaminated fuel oil in stations, according to the Energy Market Regulatory Authority.
The watchdog asked five other companies for their defense statements.听听
The regulatory agency听also authorized 15 new licenses and听cancelled the licenses of six听other firms.
