Turkey's biggest biomass-based electricity generation plant has received pre-licensing, the country'sÌýenergyÌýwatchdog announced, Thursday.

The plant is expected to have a capacity of 30 megawatts and will beÌýthe largest capacityÌýbiomass plant in the country,ÌýTurkishÌýEnergyÌýRegulatory Market (EMRA)Ìýsaid.

Mutlular Enerji will construct the biomass plantÌýin Balikesir, located inÌýthe western region of Marmara.Ìý
