The Eurogroup will meet on Monday in Brussels where ministers will be briefed on the preliminary results of a recent review mission to Athens in the context of the ongoing second review of Greece's financial assistance program. The European Commission and the European Central Bank will give their assessment of recent inflation developments in the Euro area.

Economic and Financial Affairs Council will meet in Brussels on Tuesday. The Council will hear the European Commission’s presentation on its new package of proposals for ‘building a fair, competitive and stable corporate tax system for the EU�. The Council will then exchange views on the proposals. Additionally, the Council is expected to adopt, without discussion, conclusions on improvements to VAT rules for cross-border transactions.

The European Parliament’s Committee of Inquiry into the Panama Papers scandal (PANA) will hear EU Commissioner Vera Jourova, who is responsible for the EU's anti-money-laundering policy on Tuesday.

A European Commission's report on Turkey's progress towards European Union membership is expected to be released on Wednesday.

MEPs will hold a debate on the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA), which needs to be ratified by the European Parliament before it enters into force on Thursday. The day before, on Wednesday, Trade Committee MEPs will also debate the future of EU trade policy with EU trade Commissioner Cecilia Malmstrom, World Trade Organization (WTO) Deputy Director-General Karl Brauner, World Bank lead economist Paul Brenton and other experts from the International Monetary Fund, Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, UN Conference on Trade and Development, the International Trade Center and Oxfam.

An upgrade to the EU’s aviation safety rules, to ensure standards meet future challenges as air traffic is set to increase, will be voted by the Transport Committee on Thursday. The new proposal also includes an EU safety framework for drones.

- Trade defense
The Foreign Affairs Council will meet in Brussels on Friday. Ministers will discuss the modernization of the EU's trade defense instruments and the new anti-dumping methodology. Ministers will discuss the WTO and the post-Nairobi process. They will also take stock of negotiations on the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP). In addition, the EU and Ecuador will sign the Protocol of Accession of Ecuador to the EU-Colombia/Peru Trade Agreement.
