Anadolu Agency will launch its Energy Journalism Training program on Monday in collaboration with the Turkish International Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) and Anadolu Agency's News Academy.
A group of 24 trainees from eight countries -- including Palestine, Iraq, Lebanon, Egypt, Jordan, Somalia, Sudan and Tunisia -- will attend the program.
Representatives from Turkey's Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA) and Turkiye Petrolleri (TP), an academic from Turkey's Middle East Technical University (METU), an expert from TurkStream, and Anadolu Agency鈥檚 Energy news editors will deliver training in accordance with the agency's vision of educating and supporting qualified field correspondents.
As part of the program, several subjects -- including reporting techniques, energy policies, energy law, energy security, the global natural gas and oil market -- will be addressed.
Carried out by Anadolu Agency's News Academy, the course is unique as it offers an 11-day program covering both theoretical and practical training.
Successful participants will be awarded internationally-recognized certificates at the end of their training.
The program will conclude on Aug. 10.
