UN watchdog confirms no increase in radiation levels following Israeli strikes on Iran’s Natanz nuclear site

ISTANBUL

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) on Friday confirmed that no increase in radiation levels has been observed at Iran’s Natanz nuclear site following Israel’s strikes targeting the facility.

In addition, the IAEA said the Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant was not hit by Israel.

“Iranian authorities have informed the IAEA that the Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant has not been targeted and that no increase in radiation levels has been observed at the Natanz site,” Rafael Grossi, chief of the UN nuclear watchdog, said in a post on X.

He said the IAEA “is in contact with Iranian authorities regarding radiation levels.”
