Attendees at North America’s biggest celebration of Turkish heritage were drawn to Anadolu’s stand, where they browsed publications, including about Israel’s genocide in Gaza.

Highlights at Anadolu’s booth at the Turkish Festival, which commenced Friday in Rosemont, Illinois included the news agency’s photographic volumes chronicling the onslaught in the Palestinian enclave, titled, The Evidence and The Witness.

Guests also had the chance to review Anadolu’s annual almanac of major developments in 2024, as well as a collection of winning entries in the Istanbul Photo Awards, an international photojournalism contest organized by Anadolu since 2015, and The First Ten Years, a special volume to commemorate a decade of the competition.

Festival-goers also received detailed information about Anadolu's operations and coverage throughout the world.

More than 200 booths lined the grounds of the three-day festival, offering Turkish cuisine, artisanal works and traditional crafts such as calligraphy, paper marbling (ebru), illumination (tezhip) and ceramics, as well as other cultural activities. Anadolu serves as the event’s global communication partner.
