13 killed, 92 injured in incidents caused by heavy rain, strong winds in Pakistan

ISTANBUL
At least 13 people were killed and 92 more injured on Saturday in incidents caused by heavy rain and strong winds in Pakistan's central-eastern Punjab province.
More than 10 people were killed due to "the collapse of dilapidated houses and being in unsafe locations" in various parts of Punjab, reported the Dawn newspaper, citing the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA).
A worker was killed and five others suffered serious injuries when the roof of a local factory collapsed due to high winds, according to state-run Pakistan Television.
One person was killed by a lightning strike.
Several mud and dilapidated houses were also damaged by the storm.
Earlier on Friday, the PDMA issued a warning about strong winds, dust storms, and the possibility of rain in various parts of Punjab.
