Former Armenian Prime Minister and parliament speaker Hovik Abrahamyan was arrested Friday on charges including money laundering, abuse of official authority, and illegal participation in entrepreneurship, local media reported.

Abrahamyan faces multiple accusations tied to his time in public office, according to the country’s Anti-Corruption Committee.
